Organising Drive, and the embedded picker

Rename, move, copy and delete items, and how Drive appears inside other editors.

Rename, move, copy, delete

Select one or more items and use the More (โ‹ฎ) menu (the delete entry reads "Delete all" when several are selected):

  • Rename โ€” change an item's name.
  • Move โ€” opens a folder-tree picker to choose the destination folder.
  • Copy โ€” copies the selected items to another account you manage (pick the target account from a searchable list). This is a cross-account copy, not a same-folder duplicate.
  • Delete โ€” remove items (confirmed for safety).

Folders are managed from their own โ‹ฎ menu in the tree โ€” Rename, Move, Share, Delete. These actions require write permission; a read-only or shared folder hides them.

The embedded Drive picker

Several places embed a Drive picker rather than the full browser โ€” the playlist editor's "Add content", the design editor's layer media fields, and flow media-swap actions. The picker is the same folder browser in select mode, optionally restricted by type (so a layer image field only offers images), with an "Add items (count)" button and quick upload from inside the picker.
