The user menu and switching accounts

The avatar in the top-right opens the user menu — the entry point to your personal profile, account switching and signing out. None of this is account-specific; it's about you, the logged-in user.

Clicking the avatar opens a menu with a header (your avatar, full name and alias) and these items:

• Profile — opens your profile.
• Accounts — opens the account switcher.
• Partners — switch to a partner context (only if you administer partners).
• Organizations — switch to an organisation context (only if you belong to organisations).
• Mobile View / Auto View — force the mobile or automatic layout, for previewing the phone experience.
• Sign out — log out.

(Product editors get a reduced menu — only Profile and Sign out.)

Account switcher

Accounts opens a searchable list of every account you can access. Type to filter, then click an account to switch into it — the whole CMS reloads in that account's context. Accounts you don't currently have access to appear greyed out. Partners and Organizations open equivalent switchers for those higher-level contexts.
