The top bar

From the left: a back arrow, a menu with design-level actions β€” Settings, Save, Share, Revisions, Import layers (copy layers in from another design), Load (reload from the server) and Help (the shortcut cheat sheet).

The add-layer palette has single-click buttons for the frequent kinds β€” Text (T), Shape (S), Image (I) and Video β€” plus a more button for Playlist, Table, Webpage and Custom (code) layers.

The action controls cover undo, duplicate, delete, the two snap toggles (snap to grid, snap to other layers), a settings gear, share, and the align / distribute and text-sizing controls. On the right: the zoom control (a dropdown from 10% to 300%) and the Design / Animate mode toggle (Animate reveals the timeline).
