Adding a display

Four ways to add a screen: pair a TV, add a virtual display, create an empty record, or download the player app.

The + Add display button opens a menu with four paths:

  1. Pair a TV or screen — walks you through pairing a physical display with the guided wizard. This is the normal way to connect a real screen running the player app.
  2. Add a virtual display — a software-only display that runs in a browser, with no physical hardware. Handy for testing or embedding; it opens in a new tab.
  3. Create empty display — creates an unlinked display record now that you can pair to a device later.
  4. Download app — links to the Android player app for a TV or signage device.

A small dialog with a single name field (pre-filled) and Cancel / Save. Saving creates an unlinked display row; link it to a device later via the Link action or the pairing wizard.
