Saving, history and sharing a design

Autosave plus Ctrl+S, undo with a snackbar, revisions, template banners and public preview links.

  • Autosave plus explicit save β€” Ctrl+S (or the menu) saves; a save overlay shows Creating preview β†’ Saving β†’ Saved.
  • Undo/redo β€” Ctrl+Z, plus a visible Undo snackbar after destructive actions.
  • Revisions β€” open and restore earlier versions.
  • Template banners β€” after cloning, an "Edit your data" prompt points you at the data-mapping panel; if the source template later updates, a banner offers to re-clone the latest.

Design settings

The Settings item in the menu edits the design's details β€” its name, theme category and theme name, tags, and (where your account allows) whether it's a global template and its featured rank. It does not set canvas size, orientation or bleed β€” those are chosen by the format/orientation picker when the design is first created.

Sharing a preview

The Share action creates a public preview URL that renders the design full-bleed with no editor chrome, viewable without a login. You can set how long the link stays valid β€” 15 minutes, 1 hour or 24 hours (1 hour by default).

Other states

  • Loading β€” a branded "Loading editor…" screen until the canvas is ready.
  • Wider screen needed β€” the editor is desktop-only and shows a "needs a wider screen" message on narrow viewports.
