Styling text

Selecting a text layer opens the text style editor in the property panel. It gives you full typographic control:

• Alignment — left, centre, right.
• Font — choose from Google Fonts or your own custom uploaded fonts (uploaded to Drive).
• Size, weight (light through heavy, plus normal and bold) and italic.
• Overflow — clip, fade, ellipsis, or visible (how text behaves when it's too big for its box).
• Fit — none, fill, contain, cover, fit width, fit height, or scale down.
• Spacing — letter spacing, word spacing and line height, plus a soft-wrap toggle.
• Colour — text colour and a text background colour.
• Text shadow — colour, X and Y offset, and blur.
• Decoration — none, underline, line-through or overline, with a decoration style (solid, double, dotted, dashed, wavy), thickness and colour.

Fonts, sizes and colours offered here include your Brand Kit choices, so text in a cloned template adopts your brand automatically. Text styles can also be saved into a theme and reused across designs.
