The property panel

The right rail edits the selected layer — layout, style, type-specific options and animation.

The right rail edits the selected layer (it never auto-collapses; with nothing selected it shows hints). Numeric inputs are scrubbable — drag to change, hold Shift/Alt to nudge. It has four tabs: Layout, Style, Type and Info.

Property panel with a layer selected

Layout

  • Size presets — Fullscreen, Full width, Full height (snap the layer to fill the canvas).
  • Width / Height, Left / Top (position), Skew X / Skew Y.
  • Opacity, Angle (rotation) and Blur.
  • Behaviour toggles: Circle (force round), Pin right neighbour (chain a touching layer so it follows this one's width), Brand replaceable (lets the template/brand kit swap this layer's colours or logo) and Themable (lets an account theme restyle it).

Style

  • Fill colour.
  • Border — size, corner radius, colour.
  • Shadow — on/off, X / Y offset, blur, colour.

Type

Type-specific controls for the selected layer — e.g. an Image fit/scale mode (Fill / Contain / Cover / Fit width / Fit height / None / Scale down), a Video player, a Shape re-pick, a Webpage URL, a Custom layer's code editor, or a Playlist layer's items (each with a display time). Text layers open the full text style editor — see "Styling text".

Info

Layer admin: name, layer type, parent layer, template binding and bound field, and the Dynamic / Required / Disabled flags (plus clone options like "don't clone" and "scale with rows").
