What a feed is

A feed brings external data into Display Link on a schedule, ready to show on screen.

A feed brings external data into Display Link as rows, on a schedule. Once ingested, the rows behave like any other tabular data: you can bind them to layouts in the design editor, filter them into Product Lists, and reshape them with flows. This is the most powerful part of the CMS.

The same editor also handles the rows and columns of Product Catalogs, Product Lists and Tables, because they all open the same way.

Opening the editor

Create a feed, table or product source from Drive's Create new picker, then double-click it in Drive to open the editor. It is a large overlay with up to four tabs: Feed, Settings, Source and Flows. (The Source and Flows tabs require the "add products" permission.)
